What WE-NEO is
A pre-launch speedrun leaderboard site for the Neo Geo AES+. Features described on this site — boards, badges, verification — ship when the console does, and details may change before then. WE-NEO is a working name and is not affiliated with SNK or Plaion.
Signups and accounts
Founding Member signup reserves your badge and gets you launch updates; you can unsubscribe or ask for deletion any time via support. When accounts open, one account per person; your display name appears publicly next to your runs.
Submitting runs
- Runs must be performed on real AES+/AES hardware with original controllers — no emulators, no FPGAs, no keyboards.
- Every run needs full video proof (YouTube or Twitch).
- Splicing, manipulated RNG, or misrepresenting hardware gets runs removed and repeat offenders suspended.
- Submitting a run means accepting the published category rules and the verification standard.
Conduct
Moderators may remove content, lock threads, or suspend accounts to keep the boards and forums honest and civil. Decisions come with reasons, and rejected runs can be appealed.
The fine print
The service is provided as-is while pre-launch; we may change or discontinue features. These terms will be re-issued in fuller legal form before the boards open — the principles above won't change.
